Stage 4

A moderate stage of about 4 to 4.5 hours leads toward Dornoch on paths and tracks through Sutherland's gentler eastern fringe. Distance is manageable; the challenge on the JOGT is consistency over two weeks.

Dornoch has a famous cathedral, a beach, and good places to stay. One of the more attractive town stops before the route turns wilder heading north.
