Stage 3

You follow the coast and inland lanes toward Tain across farmland and estuary country. Allow about 5 to 6 hours with some route-finding through a landscape of fields and scattered villages.

Tain is a royal burgh with services and accommodation. The trail stays largely inland here - coastal drama returns on later stages.
