Stage 9

A shorter coastal stage of about 4 to 4.5 hours toward Dunbeath follows cliff and shore paths where tides permit. Less climbing than yesterday but still exposed to weather off the North Sea.

Dunbeath is a small village associated with Neil Gunn's writing and a harbour setting. Quiet overnight stop in increasingly remote country.
